Frequently Asked Questions
Testing
Where is my blood drawn? At a Quest patient service center near you.
Do I need insurance? No. We do not bill insurance. Pricing is direct and shown before you book. You can still use your own insurance for labs; see below.
What does it cost? Our panels start at Baseline, with Advanced and Elite for a deeper look. See current pricing.
Can I get a refund? Lab panels are refundable until your blood draw. Other products and services are non-refundable. Refund policy
Can I use results from another lab? Yes — you can upload past results and a licensed medical professional will read them alongside your panel. See Upload Past Labs.
How often should I re-test? It depends on what changed and what we are trying to move. Re-test intervals are set by your licensed medical professional as part of the plan, not by a fixed schedule.
Treatment
Will I be prescribed something? Not necessarily. Plenty of panels end in a behaviour change and a re-test date. Treatment follows the findings.
Are peptides FDA approved? Certain peptides are not approved by the FDA for general human use. They may be prescribed off-label or dispensed through licensed compounding pharmacies at a licensed medical professional's discretion, and long-term safety data in healthy individuals is limited. Compounded formulations are not the same products studied in the trials whose figures are commonly cited.
Do you offer GLP-1 therapy? Yes, where clinically appropriate, as part of a metabolic plan built on your panel rather than as a standalone prescription.
Eligibility and telehealth
Where do you operate? Our clinic is in Winter Park, Florida. We currently serve Florida, with more states coming soon.
Is everything done remotely? Almost. Your blood draw happens at a Quest patient service center near you, and pellet insertions are done at our Winter Park clinic. Everything else, including consultations, can be done by telehealth, or in person at Winter Park if you prefer.
Privacy
Who can see my results? You and the licensed medical professionals involved in your care. See the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for how protected health information is used and disclosed, and the Privacy Policy for everything else.
Insurance
Can I use my insurance for labs? Yes, with one thing to know first. Our panels are far more comprehensive than the standard labs from an annual physical. Billed through insurance, the same tests can run thousands of dollars, and insurers often cover only part of it, or none.
If you'd still like to use your insurance, start with a paid consult with one of our licensed medical professionals (30 or 60 minutes). They'll order your labs and walk you through what to expect. Coverage is between you and your insurer, and you're responsible for anything it doesn't pay. We don't bill insurance for our services. Book a consult →
